The victimhood paradigm is programmed into our very reality at every level.
So you can be forgiven for buying into it, even if subconsciously.
Are you ready? Here goes…

We believe we live in a cause and effect reality.
Thing happens, affects other thing.
Perhaps, perhaps not

Here’s what you do know: as long as you continue to look for things OVER THERE
As the source of your discomfort IN HERE (your solar plexus)
You are effectively making a declaration:
To the universe, and (most importantly) to yourself.
That you are not responsible for how you feel.

And if you are not responsible for how you feel, you are not responsible for what you think.
And if you outsource your thinking and feeling, then your behaviour is already not your own.
Suddenly you have no accountability for your:
Thoughts - feelings - actions - results
“This happened to me because of - blah blah blah”
Excuses.
Victimhood.

Here’s the thing, the excuses will NEVER run out, and they will ALWAYS be very compelling, very convincing.
There will ALWAYS be a story your mind can come up with to find some reason or another OVER THERE as the cause for how you are feeling right here, right now.

It’s not your fault.
Until you become aware.
Then it becomes your choice.
The moment you CHOOSE to swap excuses for accountability, for good, is the first day of the rest of your life.
Nothing changes, yet everything changes.
Because when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change.
You cannot un see a mindset shift. It’s for life.
